Overview of Follow-Up Service Delivery
Tramua Centre of Australia's model for providing
critical incident / trauma
debriefing and counselling follow-up will operate under the
immediate 1, 1, 2, 4 approach;
Immediate on-site / telephone debrief, followed-up:
*1 day after the incident.
*1 week after the incident.
*2 weeks after the last follow-up.
*4 weeks after the last follow-up.
This approach may vary due to:
*The extent of the incident and individual needs.
*The contractual arrangement of the particular customer.
*Variations as directed or negotiated between counsellor,
organisation and managers.
Feedback to organisations will be:
*In a general mode.
*Directed to O.H & S and Human Resources.
*In a general written report.
